The chocolate factory is open!
The chocolate making process started today. We had to melt the chocolate so that we could mix in our very special ingredients.

We chose the type of chocolate we wanted (milk was the most popular) and added the flavouring of our choice. Some of us included popping candy, caramel, honey comb, fudge and even liquorice.
No chocolate bar is complete without a golden ticket!

Chocolate Making
We have been working hard in the Rabbit Chocolate Factory to create some of our own Choccy creations.
Check out some of our chocolate bar designs below.
We were busy making our moulds today using a net. It was important we got them finished today so that the factory can get up and running tomorrow and we can make our chocolate creations!

Our Trip to the Chocolate Factory
We were lucky enough to get on board our bus and travel all the way to the Hershey's chocolate factory in America!
Once we were there we took a look around and saw some of the jobs the workers were doing.
There were lots of conveyer belts, huge tanks of milk, packaging machines, heating machines and we spotted lots of delivery lorries going to and from the factory. Someone even thought they spotted Willy Wonker!
After we had a look around we tried our hand at some of the jobs. It was important we all wore a hair net for hygiene reasons.
We even met a man called David who gave us a tour of the factory and got to sample some of the delicious chocolate. Lucky us!
